spruce spirits are the guardians of spruce trees, and are seldom to be seen. even if caught unawares, they will hide into the nearest spruce-tree in the blink of an eye. slender as the trees they protect, they are near-impossible to find. however, as all spirits that are guardians of coniferous trees, the spruce spirits also have a weakness for blueberries (črnica - "blackberry", more commonly known as borovnica - "pine-berry"). after a spruce spirit has indulged in these for too long, its hiding-abilities will be severly reduced. -- photo taken on Pohorje. 06-07-15. yes, the camera is lying! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
